Another day, another newfangled drink from Dunkin’! The Dunkin Churro Signature Latte just landed at your local coffee shop, and I have to say, this one is a pretty good one as you’ll see in my Dunkin Churro Latte review below.
And, we don’t say that about all their coffee drinks. Really. Not all of Dunkin’s new launches are winners (I’m not going to name names, I’m not a tattle-tale. Anymore.), but this one … this one might go pretty high up on our list of faves.
What Is the Dunkin’ Churro Signature Latte?
The Dunkin’ Churro Signature Latte is a latte with a churro twist. It’s made with espresso and milk with cinnamon and a kick of sweetness. Then topped with whipped cream, caramel, and cinnamon sugar.
Unfortunately, there’s no actual churro in it or alongside it. This isn’t a Dunkin’s, sir. Not Barcelona.
The new Churro Latte comes hot or iced and I think iced is the way to go (even though a hot churro is *chef’s kiss*).

My Dunkin’ Churro Latte Review
I am someone who absolutely loves a sweet drink. The sweeter the better. So, I would have thought the Dunkin Churro Signature Latte — which I ordered iced — would have been the perfect gut punch of sugar. Listen, you don’t go to Dunkin’ for a healthy start to your day. You go to Dunkin’ when you want to fill your body with as much caffeine, sugar, and carbs as you can physically handle.
I was actually wrong?
Believe it or not, this drink is pretty well-balanced in terms of flavors. Despite sugar on top of sugar on top of sugar, the drink is still creamy and not overpowering with a sickly taste (bummer).
The cinnamon flavor could have more oomph. When I think of churros, I think of a strong cinnamon flavor, and this drink doesn’t have that. (But, maybe other Dunkin baristas will be more heavy handed with their cinnamon pours.
To be fair, I didn’t indulge in all of the whipped cream (because I didn’t feel like spending the rest of my day keeled over in bed from too much dairy), so perhaps the extra sweetness I expected would have come through. But the drink itself didn’t have that cloying flavor that some of their other beverages have.
I consider the latte a win. The creaminess and the subtlety of the sweetness really worked for me, despite how much I just harped on about it not being sweet enough or cinnamony enough.
Do I think it actually mimics a churro? Eh, probably not an authentic one, but it was a valiant effort.
