As the weather starts to cool off, your hands deserve a “thank you” manicure after a summer of wiping your brows and swatting mosquitos. So, here’s the hottest fall nail colors for 2022.
From bright whites and deep greens to Barbiecore pinks, all of these shades will look great when you waltz into the office gripping your iced Pumpkin Spice Latte.
The Trendiest Fall Nail Colors for 2022
1. Manucurist in Green Licorice
Green licorice might be the last thing we want to see in our trick-or-treat pillowcases, but it’s the first thing we want to see on our Christmas lists.
This vegan nail polish uses plant-based ingredients, but we still don’t recommend eating it.
Available at Manucurist.
2. Deborah Lippmann in Love Yourself
This beautiful purple is both a great nail polish and sound life advice. We love a two-for-one! The vegan shade is described as “full coverage plum creme” but it makes for a less messy manicure than that ube flan we tried last week.
Available at Deborah Lippmann.
3. Sundays in No. 18
Sunday or not, this deep red wine color simply will not quit. Kind of like the summer heat. And this company‘s distaste for puns.
Available at Dear Sundays.
4. Essie Expressie in Take the Espresso
This warm, chocolate polish is perfect for fall and it reportedly dries within one minute. Challenge accepted.
Available on Amazon.
5. LONDONTOWN in Lady Luck
We wanted to send a thank you note for this gorgeous, deep red nail polish but instead we got a lecture on how the postal system works after trying to mail a letter addressed to “Londontown, England. Maybe?”
Available on Amazon.
6. Gucci in Winterset Snow
It’s some sort of wizardry that this bright white looks classy and elegant, and not like we just got into an old bottle of White-Out.
Available at Sephora.
7. LeChat in Dare to Wear Destiny
Carry some summer vibes into fall with this stunning deep sea green meets blue polish. It’s a match made in… well probably a lab somewhere.
Available at Amazon.
8. OPI in Isn’t It Grand Avenue
Wearing this dark blue shade will give you the confidence to word things like a question but punctuate them like a statement. Doesn’t that feel good.
Available at Amazon.
10. Olive & June in Caramel Budino
Considering that Olive & June started in Beverly Hills, this candy-colored brown shade is likely inspired by Nancy Silverton’s butterscotch dessert at Pizzera Mozza. Can you tell we haven’t eaten lunch yet?
Available at Olive & June.
11. Essie in One for One
A bright, shimmery pink polish color might be just what you need when you remember that yeah, fall is great, but it also gets dark at 4PM.
Available at Amazon.
12. Holo Taco in Gold Flake Taco
Nothing classes up a mani like a touch of gold. Kind of like nothing keeps people from trying to eat your tacos like cilantro.
Available at Holo Taco.
13. Smith & Cult in Bitter Cashmere Daydream
This opaque celadon green polish is beautiful enough to distract from the name sounding like the title of a distraught diary entry from Blair Waldorf.
Available at Beautylish.
14. Deborah Lippmann in Lost in a Dream
Our sleep paralysis demon approves of this sage green shade.
Available at Sephora.
15. Orly in It’s Brittney, Beach
Oops, we did it again. Nail polish remover should get this out of the carpet, though.
Available at Amazon.
16. Orly in Wild Willow
This willow nail polish is a mossy green. It definitely isn’t named after our plants. That color would have to be brown and rotten. Or lying.
Available at Amazon.
