Krispy Kreme Launches “Elf” Doughnuts for Christmas

Son of a nutcracker! Krispy Kreme doughnuts just released Christmas donuts inspired by the 20th anniversary of Elf. Starting on November 24th, the decorated limited-edition donuts will be available in shops and grocery stores through Christmas Eve.

The collection features three new Elf-inspired donuts and one returning holiday favorite. While the Gingerbread donut from last year isn’t on the menu, these look pretty tasty.

We recommend grabbing one of the four flavors along with a Sugar Cookie Latte or Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate and any of the Krispy Kreme locations before going back to your parents’ house and scouring the Internet for the best Black Friday deals. After all, one needs to be powered by something and it’s caffeine and sugar season.

What Are the Krispy Kreme’s Elf Donut Flavors?

These flavors look so good, we’re ready to sing their praises out loud for all to hear. Will Ferrell would be proud. Zooey Deschanel, well, maybe not so much. The Elf Specialty Collection includes:

1. Buddy Snow Globe Doughnut

This cheery Original Glazed Doughnut is dipped in sugar cookie light blue icing and white sprinkles, topped with powdered sugary snow and a chocolate “Elf” piece. It’s here to remind us to treat every day like Christmas.

 

2. Buddy Makes Breakfast Doughnut

From the memorable scene where Buddy makes candy and syrup-coated spaghetti for breakfast, this Original Glazed Doughnut is topped with cake batter spaghetti buttercreme, milk chocolate colorful candies, sprinkles, and a maple drizzle. No actual spaghetti was harmed in the making of this donut.

 

3. Christmas Lights Doughnut

Original Glazed Doughnut dipped in rich chocolate icing, drizzled with forest green icing, and topped with rainbow sprinkles to represent lights, and a chocolate “Santa! I Know Him” piece. Holiday lights make everything feel more festive. And, for once, these are edible!

 

4. Santa Belly Doughnut

Making its return to Krispy Kreme’s holiday menu this year,  This Santa belly doughnut is filled with Cookies & Kreme filling, dipped in red icing and decorated with Santa’s belt and belt buckle candy piece.

And, where sometimes the donuts don’t look as good in person as they do in the professional photos, from what we’ve seen on Raquel XO’s TikTok, these do. (We’re still snuggled up in our pajamas. Literally.)

There are also red frosted and chocolate frosted donuts with holiday sprinkles, if the Elf collection is a little too much. The holiday donuts will stick around through December 24th, at which point they head back to the North Pole.
