‘Tis the season for all the sugar that Starbucks is blessing us with, courtesy of the holiday menu (and beyond). Starbucks Christmas drinks — both on the regular menu and the secret menu — are full of sugar, spice, and everything nice to make you jolly all December long.
The holiday options at Starbucks have all the flavors you know and love: chocolate, peppermint, gingerbread, and cookies.
Plus, there’s plenty of caffeine to help you power through all the Christmas shopping you swore you’d do earlier in the year that you definitely didn’t do yet. Starbucks gift cards for everyone who’s left!
Whether you want to sip on the classic Peppermint Mocha or the Grinchmas Frappuccino, we’ve put together a handy guide to all the best festive drinks at Starbs this season.
1. Iced Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai
As part of Starbucks official holiday menu, this one is plenty easy to order. No fancy fingerwork needed on your app before you walk in the door.
The drink — which can also be ordered hot — is packed with chai and gingerbread spices and made with oat milk.
2. Grinchmas Frappuccino
This mean, green, Grinchmas Frappuccino from the secret menu will have you feeling particularly evil this Christmas. Well, it’ll have you feeling hopped up on sugar, but it’s all the same to us.
Order a Venti Matcha Frappuccino made with sweet cream and add one or two extra scoops of matcha. Add three pumps of Sugar Cookie syrup and four scoops of Vanilla Bean powder.
3. Toasted Chestnut Praline Cold Brew
Why stop at the chestnut praline options that are on the menu when you can go even further? Oh, because it’s easier?
Order a Venti Cold Brew and add three pumps of Toasted White Mocha syrup and three pumps of Chestnut Praline syrup. Top it with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam with a pump of Chestnut Praline syrup blended in. Add some Chestnut Praline topping onto all of that.
4. Holly Jolly Refresher
This secret menu drink may be called the Holly Jolly Refresher, but the price tag is anything but.
Order a Venti Mango Dragonfruit Refresher with no water and no inclusions. Add a splash of Passion Tea, Strawberry Puree, one pump of Vanilla syrup and two pumps of Raspberry syrup. Top with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam with a scoop of matcha blended in.
The result is a Christmassy treat that’s a little bit sweet and super festive.
5. Ferrero Rocher Frappuccino
Fa-la-la-la-Ferrero Rocher. Eat your chocolate blended, not blended, in liquid form, as a solid. The only wrong way is to not eat it.
Order a Venti Double Chocolaty Chip Frappuccino. Add two or three pumps of Mocha syrup (the choice is yours, friend) and one to two pumps of Hazelnut syrup. Top it with whipped cream. If you’re feeling fancy, throw your own truffle on top after you’ve been served.
6. Peppermint Mocha
Nothing says the holiday season quite like a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha. This holiday menu staple is made with Starbucks Signature Espresso, steamed milk, Mocha sauce, and Peppermint syrup.
You can also have your fave festive flavors served iced or as a chilly Frappuccino — perfect for an ice queen. You did dress up as Elsa for Halloween this year, so…
7. Strawberry Frosted Gingerbread Latte
Not sure how to feel about a strawberry and gingerbread combo? Give it a try, because this secret menu drink looks really pretty. And that’s all that matters, right?
Order a Venti Iced Chai Latte with oat milk. Add two pumps of Brown Sugar syrup and two pumps of Sugar Cookie syrup. Top with Vanilla Sweet Cream cold foam with strawberry puree blended in.
8. Candy Cane Cold Brew
Think of this as your Peppermint Mocha amped up a notch. It’s a secret menu item, but plenty easy to order and will have you feeling holly jolly. And extremely caffeinated.
Order a Venti Cold Brew and add four pumps of White Mocha sauce and two pumps of Peppermint syrup. Top with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam with one pump of Peppermint syrup blended in. Add some holiday sprinkles for some glitz and glam.
9. Snickerdoodle Cold Brew
A snickerdoodle is pretty much the epitome of Christmas. OK, the same could maybe be said for a sugar cookie or a gingerbread cookie. There are a lot of Christmas cookies. That’s why the Starbucks secret menu has so many cookie-themed drinks to choose from.
For this one, order a Grande Cold Brew, add one pump of White Mocha sauce and two pumps of sugar-free Cinnamon Dolce syrup. Finish it with a splash of half-and-half.
10. Caramel Brulée Latte
We can’t resist drinking one or four of these a day during the Christmas season, so it’s a good thing they’re back for another year on the holiday menu.
They’re made with espresso, steamed milk, and that delicious Caramel Brulée sauce. Topped off with whipped cream and the Caramel Brulée bits, you’ve got yourself one magical drink.
11. Chestnut Praline Latte
Picture this: you’re drinking your Chestnut Praline Latte in front of the fire while “The Christmas Song” is spinning on vinyl (the Nat King Cole version, you heathens). How meta. We want that for… mostly for us.
Excuse us while we head to Starbucks to order this espresso-based drink from the official holiday menu.
12. Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
If you’re leaning dairy-free, the Iced Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte is here to save the day. The holiday menu favorite combines Starbucks’ Blonde Espresso with almondmilk and Sugar Cookie syrup. It’s sweet, but not overly so.
While it’s typically served iced, it can also be enjoyed piping hot or even as a Frappuccino. It’s finished with festive sprinkles — and no whipped cream. And yes the sprinkles get lost almost immediately.
Not a fan of almond milk? Swap it for oat, whole, nonfat, or coconut.
13. Hot Cocoa Cold Brew
This Hot Cocoa Cold Brew will rev you up for a day of last-minute shopping with a crowd of feisty bargain hunters without breaking a sweat. Because it’s cold, not hot. We know, the name’s confusing.
Order a Grande Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew with one pump of Vanilla syrup. Add two pumps of Mocha syrup and one pump of Toasted White Mocha syrup. Top it with dark chocolate curls.
14. Iced Mocha Sugar Cookie Latte
This festive drink is from the secret menu and tastes just like a sugar cookie.
Order a Venti Iced Blonde White Mocha Latte, add three pumps of White Mocha sauce, two pumps of Sugar Cookie syrup, line the cup with caramel drizzle, sub whipped cream for Chocolate Cream Cold Foam, and top it all off with chocolate curls.
15. Sugar Cookie Chai
One can never have too many sugar cookie options, in our humble opinion. And if we’re being honest, our opinions are always correct.
Yet another sugar cookie variety from the secret menu, this one gives you an alternative to coffee, which your digestive system may thank you for. If it’s verbal.
Order a Venti Iced Chai Tea Latte with oat milk, add four pumps of Sugar Cookie syrup, top with Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Foam blended with two pumps of Sugar Cookie syrup and one pump of White Mocha syrup. Sprinkle the top with Cookie Crumble.

16. Santa Claus Frappuccino
Here’s the thing about Itsjoboi’s drink creations — sometimes they’re chaos. This off-book Santa Claus Frappuccino is all over the place, but that’s what makes it magic.
Order a Venti White Chocolate Creme Frappuccino and add two pumps of White Mocha syrup and four pumps of Toasted Vanilla syrup. Add two scoops of Java chips. Line the cup with strawberry puree so Santa can have his red suit. Top it with whipped cream and sprinkles.
